first thing first,

yes. i got into my first choice: business studies @ ngee ann.

dont know should i be happy or should i worry like hell.

`cause dae results are not out yet. but if i dont get into nautical, ha. i will stay put at business. =)

stupid hell. i from ten thousand years ago worrying about this damn thing until now also no answer. --" nautical? or business?

shoot me, please. please. =X


but anyways, i didnt know anybody going to business studies. well, that's quite sad. `cause that means i have to make new friends again. hell, i hate that part. LOL.

but im glad that quite a number are going to ngee ann. like shihui, huizhi, shirley, sharon.h, lixuan BLAHBLAH. cant remember. LOL. =D



and next,

i think i will continue working even during poly bahs. `cause need to earn my expenses. --"

and somemore.. my manager keep asking me to stay. cant be reject him bahs?! =X


and yeah. trained to be a runner this week. OMG. i feel so lucky lahs. didnt got much scoldings as compared to brendon. =/ well, that's because the chef are helping me.

and some other staff bahs. of course, my shifu, JOEL! LOL. im glad i did well. but if the chef they all didnt help me, i think i will die like some shit. xD

and i was so stressed up at the back pantry lahs! stressed until i want to shit also. =X



OHYA! i want to thanks my uncle and parents. they gave me such a nice name! =D

some guests will ask me for my name.. then they will STARE at my tag.

"OH.. XINNI ahhs." "wow. nice name."


but i hate it when some guests ask me, "where are you from?!"

kns. do i look like some foreigners?! im PURE singaporean, okaes! xD


then got once when i went to 7-11 to buy some drinks.. YES. in that uniform. LOL.

and the cashier (who knows me `cause im a regular customer. (^^,) heh.) asked me while staring at my name tag "XIN-NI?"

im like... "HA! yep."
he went "wow! i had never seen names starting with X!"

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! thannked god all my xinyi-s friends are not there. =P (this make my name looked even more special. HEEHEE. ><)


well, of course, i met some who cant pronounce my name. aiseh, i gave up. even me myself i dont know which one exactly i should be called. got used to the one kaixian invented. LOL.

and got once i got so pissed off because the guests just bloody dont get the pronouciation right. i went "XINNI. X-I-N-N-I. XINNI."

yeah. i repeated like 10times. zzzzz

and when most of my colleagues are malays. the job gets easier. =)

ifah: "eh. how to pronounce your name ah?!"
xinni: "HA. you pronounce it the same way as the malay word for 'here'."
ifah: stunned for a second. o.o "HAHA! oh! =D xini!" =D

LOL. whardever. doesnt make a difference too. =)

and my supervisor and captain also somehow gave up. `cause they speak in malay.. and sometimes they will went 'BLAHBLAH XINI!". and i will went "HUH?!!" O.o?!

of course, they are not purposely lahs. =) so they ended up called me "XIAO MEI MEI!"

LOL. funny people. xD



well, i still have to thanks again for my such a nice name. =) im so proud of it. LOL.

and thanks to customers who commented on me.

well, i guess when customers appreciated your kindness, you will feel glad and all. happy for yourself. =)

although somehow i know i didnt do my best. or rather, did my best but the results didnt really prove so, it helps when customer apppreciated it! =D

hmms. im still young! so i believe i will have to experience lots more!


but i guess the most difficult part for my job is.. when you actually got rather pissed off with that bloody customer, you still had to smile and pretend they're right. and im wrong. LOL.

i hate it.

so now, when i went out to eat.. i know how the waiters and waitresses felt. and of course, be more understanding lahs.

HELLO, we face so many customers a day. different kinds of customers. i think it's like more than the kinds of animals that a zoo has. --"

so people, be nice when you are a customer yourself. less demanding and troublesome please. (^^,)
